TheraGen

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using TheraGen, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use the service.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Free trial. New accounts begin with a 3-day free trial that gives full access to TheraGen Lite. A valid payment card is required at signup. The card is authorised but not charged during the trial period. We send reminder emails on day 1 and day 2 of the trial.

Auto-renewal. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, on day 4 your card will be charged the then-current monthly price for TheraGen Lite (currently $29 USD/month or local-currency equivalent), and the subscription will continue to renew monthly until cancelled. Plus and Pro tiers, if selected, follow the same renewal pattern.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation during the trial means no charge will be made. Cancellation after a paid renewal stops future charges; the current paid period continues until its scheduled end date and is non-refundable except as required by law.

Refund rights. Where required by applicable law (including the EU/UK Consumer Rights Directive's 14-day cooling-off right), you may request a refund of the most recent charge by emailing billing@theragen.app within the statutory window.

Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, we will retry up to three times over a seven-day period and notify you by email. If the charge cannot be completed, your account will be set to read-only until payment details are updated.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' written notice; any change applies to renewals on or after the notice period ends.

Payment processing. Payments are processed by Paystack, our PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider. Your full card number is held by Paystack, never by TheraGen — we store only a tokenised authorisation code that lets us trigger the agreed charges.

5. Acceptable use

No illegal, abusive, or harmful behavior. Do not attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the service.

6. Disclaimers

TheraGen provides educational guidance and optional clinician connections but is not a substitute for emergency care.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TheraGen is not liable for certain damages arising from use of the service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations. You can cancel at any time.

9. Governing law

Terms are governed by applicable local laws; disputes resolved in designated courts.
